Why is my credit card being declined?

We utilize a professional credit card processor and gateway to process our orders. We do not have any control over what they will process or decline.

Typically, credit card payments made through Lightbound Hosting are most commonly declined for the following reasons:

Insufficient Funds
First and foremost, please check the account associated with your card to ensure there are funds available for your purchase.

Failed Address Verification
Make sure to enter your address information exactly as it appears on your credit card billing statement.

Failed CVV/CVV2 Code Match
The CVV/CVV2 code is the 3 digit number which appears on the back of your card on the signature line if you have a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card.  American Express cards display a 4 digit CVV2 code on the front of the card, just above the last four digits of the credit card number.

If your CVV/CVV2 code is not readable, please contact the financial institution that issued your card to get a new card.
